Amanda attended the “Yo Investigo Yo Soy CSIC” award ceremony in Madrid

Last Friday 10 of January, Amanda Muñoz – a PhD student in N&N Group – attended the award ceremony of the video competition “Yo Investigo Yo Soy CSIC” which took place in CSIC headquarters in Madrid.

Amanda was one of 25 young scientists who got selected as finalists of the competition. During the gala, Amanda was asked what is the most important thing unrelated to science that she has learned during her PhD and she mentioned getting to know other cultures and having friends from different parts of the world. We are very happy that our group´s cultural diversity and  friendly atmosphere is something important for our members!

“Yo Investigo Yo Soy CSIC” is a competition organized by CSIC that had its first edition in 2019. Its purpose is to encourage PhD students of CSIC to bring their research closer to society and present their work to unspecialized public.

100 videos of PhD students from 63 research centres from all over Spain have participated in the first edition of the contest. Amanda´s video has over 3500 views on Youtube.
