We have a new Doctor at the ICMAB, Docor Qianzhe Zhang, from the Nanoparticles and Nanocomposites Group (NN) at ICMAB, who defended his PhD thesis on Friday, 4 October 2019. His thesis, supervised by Dr. Martí Gich and Dr. Adrián Carretero was entitled “Microstructural Control of Epitaxial α-Quartz Films”.
Our Ph.D. student @AmandaMuoz2 attended the Molecular Virology and Microbiology Research Retreat (@bcmhouston). She presented her latest results in the evaluation of #BacterialCellulose in #Celegans and the recently started collaboration with Samuel Lab (@mircrobeMinded)

Good news from Athens! Our Ph.D. student Wenchao Duan has been awarded the best oral presentation at the 2nd International Conference on Aerogels for Biomedical and Environmental Applications.
