Large participation of our group at the 31st Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials
N&N Group members participated in the 31st Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials:
Anna Roig gave a talk about functional bacterial nanocellulose materials and presented a poster on bacterial cellulose as cell substrate and mesh to reinforce body tissues.
Sumithra Srinivasan presented two posters – one about the use of C. elegans as an animal model for cardiac arrhythmia – the case of polypyrrole nanoparticles and another about bacterial nanocellulose-polypyrrole composites as scaffolds for cardiac resynchronization.
Wid Mekseriwattana talked about riboflavin–SPIONs for enhanced cellular internalization in breast cancer cells.
