New students at N&N Group!

N&N Group welcomes three new students! Nanthilde Malandain is a PhD student and her project on bacterial cellulose will be supervised by Anna Laromaine. Darla Mare and Cristina Mira have been awarded the JAE Intro: Introduction to research fellowships for undergraduate and master students.

    

“Hi ! I’m Nanthilde and I’m from France. I completed a Master’s in Molecular and Cellular Biology. I have joined, as a PhD student, the Nanoparticles and Nanocomposites group. I will be working with bacterial cellulose for skin cultures. I speak a very little Spanish but I’m learning it ! I love photography, enjoying landscapes while walking the trails and cooking. I am delighted to join you, hope to meet everyone and learn new things !”

 

“Hi, I am Darla Mare. I was born in Romania but I grew up and studied a physics degree in Madrid at the Complutense University. I will be studying the Advanced Nanoscience and Nanotechnology master at the UAB. Also, I was granted a JAE Intro scholarship at the N&N ICMAB group and I’ll be working with Martí Gich in the FeMiT project. and on my master thesis. I love travelling, being in nature and playing volleyball. I’m very glad to be here and I hope to learn a lot.” 

 

“Hi!! My name is Cristina Mira and I am an Industrial Design Engineer. During my master’s studies in Textile Engineering I was part of the Textile Researcher group where I was able to take my first steps in research. Now, I am joining the Nanoparticles and Nanocomposites group to continue with my research career. I love practicing all kind of sports and cooking different dishes with my friends having a good time.”
