We are glad to share some good news to start the new academic year; after a long revision process, the paper “Bacterial Nanocellulose and Titania Hybrids: Cytocompatible and Cryopreservable Cell Carriers” has been accepted for publication.
The N&N group is back from the holidays break and today we announce an open PhD position (FPI scholarship). If you are a student with a strong background in biomedicine and you are highly motivated and interested in multidisciplinary projects, apply to our offer!
Last 1st to 3rd July 2019, the PhD fellow Soledad Roig attended the 4th International Conference of Natural Fibers that took place in Porto (Portugal). There, she presented an interesting oral contribution with the title: “Multilayer bacterial cellulose with confined nanoparticle distribution” which was based on her most recent published work.
Thursday 15th of March 2018 Anna Roig gave an invited talk at the first edition of the International nanoComposites Conference, which is part of the largest European event in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology: ImagineNano2018. This congress was held at Bilbao (Spain) and Anna’s talk was about “Bacterial Nanocellulose: Surface Microstructuration and Composites”.

Anna Roig was keynote speaker at the III International Symposium on Nanoparticles/Nanomaterials and Applications in Portugal, presenting the bacterial cellulose nanocomposites developed at the N&N group.
The N&N group participates in the @NextGEM_eu project, for which we prepared this video explaining how we work with c.elegans. 🪱
