The N&N members were very active participants at the activities organized for the ICMAB party 2019. We all enjoyed very much the orienteering race, the cooking competition, the concert and the ping pong tournament! Also, the original creations of Amanda, Natalia and Jan were very popular at the video and pictures contests. Good job guys!
Last week we said goodbye to Carlos Moya, who has worked as a postdoc during one year at the N&N group. To farewell him, we organized a dinner in Barcelona! We wish all the best to Carlos, he will continue with his research career at his former group, in the University of Barcelona. See you soon Carlos!
Last 28th February 2019 all the N&N group had a very fun and yummy time at the Escola de Cuina Mireia Carbó. We learnt how to prepare a traditional Catalan menu and later we enjoyed our self-prepared lunch! Thanks to Anna Laromaine for the organization of this original group activity and to the chefs for the patience!
Monday 30th July
We celebrated summer time with the second international football match for the N&N group members together with other ICMAB researchers. It was another fun and tight match that ended with a victory for the team led by Dr. Ziliang Li. Thanks to all the players and organizers!
Coinciding with the World Cup currently taking place in Russia, the N&N group organized its own event! The Catalan selection (left) beat the International team (middle) in a tight match: 12-11!

Every spring, ICMAB celebrates its anniversary with a party for all the members of the institute. This year the N&N group members participated in many of the purposed activities: orienteering race (second place for the team of Martí, Jan and Miquel), tango lessons, custumes contest (second prize for the NN group), the concert by the ICMAB-choir (Anna Roig) and the ping-pong tournament where Martí Gich was a finalist!
We all enjoyed the diverse and original activities and thank all the organizers.

To celebrate Christmas, all the N&N members meet in Can Coll, a country house near ICMAB. We had a short walk around the Natural Parc of Collserola and then a traditional Catalan lunch in the restaurant.
