We want to congratulate to Laura and Siming for the acceptance of the paper “Scale-up synthesis of iron oxide nanoparticles by microwave-assisted thermal decomposition” in Chemical Engineering Journal by Laura González-Moragas, SiMing Yu (equal contributors), Nerea Murillo, Anna Laromaine, Anna Roig.

The fourth Training School took place on 16-21 March in Spa, Belgium where a number of high-profile external speakers were invited. Siming gave a presentation on the stability of nanoparticles in biological media which is part of his PhD thesis.

Welcome to Si Ming Yu!

South_China_University_of_Technology_logoSi Ming has joined us for the next three years as a CSC fellow. He is a gradute in Food Engineering from the South China University of Technology in Guangzhou and will  prepare a Ph.D. on the Interactions in Three-dimensional environments of Nanoparticles and Cells under the supervision of Anna Laromaine. We wish him  a great success with his work and an enriching personal experience among us.
