The N&N Group’s research is mainly focused in the rational synthesis of nanoparticles and nanocomposites and the study of their structural-functional properties incluing those related to the nano/bio interfaces. The group vision is to see our materials impacting in Nanomedicine, Information Technologies or Energy and Environment. Surf our website if you want to know more about us and our research!
NN Group researchers Dr. Anna Roig, Dr. Deyaa Abol-Fotouh and Dr. Pablo Guardia published two new papers during the last month. Those publications have been achieved in close collaboration with different international institutions, extending the impact of the research done at the ICMAB-CSIC‘s Nanoparticles and Nanocomposites Group.
N&N Group members Anna Solé and Anna Roig published a new article in Polymeric Nanocarriers. The paper is entitled Efficient Nebulization and Pulmonary Biodistribution of Polymeric Nanocarriers in an Acute Lung Injury Preclinical Model.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kanlaya Katewongsa visited the Nanoparticles and Nanocomposites Group from June 12 – 14. Katewongsa is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at Mahidol University (Thailand) and holds an adjunct role at the School of Materials Science and Innovation. During this last week, Amanda Muñoz-Juan and Asier Rodríguez Muguruza have participated in outreach activities in Barcelona. The N&N post-doctoral researchers brought the group’s science outside the lab thanks to the events BAR meetings and Pint of Science.
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) 2024 have been announced. The MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships “enhance the creative and innovative potential of researchers holding a PhD and who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral mobility.”
After 6 years in the @NNgroupICMAB @AmandaMuoz2 is leaving ICMAB to start a new postdoc position at the @AarhusUni thanks to a NORPOD postdoctoral fellowship. Thanks for these fantastic years, Amanda!
