N&N Group participates at the UAB WORKSHOP ON NANOMEDICINE UAB

The Nanoparticles and Nanocomposite Group will participate with four posters:

Protein Corona on Microwave Synthesized Magnetic Iron Oxide Nanoparticles: Characterization by Dynamic Light Scattering, Siming Yu, Maria Milla, Anna Laromaine and Anna Roig 

Bacterial cellulose films as a scaffold for cell culture,  Muling Zeng, Maria Milla, Anna Laromaine and Anna Roig

Iron oxide nanoparticle based approach to promote angiogenesis in brain, Elisa Carenza, Verónica Barceló, Anna Roig, Joan Montaner, Anna Rosell

Initial studies to evaluate the interaction between iron oxide nanoparticles and Caenorhabditis elegans,  Laura González, Elisa Carenza, Anna Laromaine and Anna Roig

Attendance to the International Magnifyco 2013 Workshop

MagnifycoLarge N&N Group attendance (Siming Yu, Muling Zeng, Nerea Murillo, Anna Laromaine and Anna Roig) at the Workshop organized in Barcelona (20-22 Feb) by the EC-NMP Project MAGNIFYCO.
Activities of our group were exposed as an invited lecture, an oral communication and a poster. We learnt a lot and set the grounds for new collaborations.

The N&N group participates in the @NextGEM_eu project, for which we prepared this video explaining how we work with c.elegans. 🪱

👉 Dr. @PolAlonso1 explains how we use these nematodes and why they are useful for assessing biological effects.
