OUTREACH

Our group is committed to bring science closer to people. To this end, we participate in different kinds of activities such as seminars and workshops. From time to time, we collaborate with the media and we also organize outreach activities in collaboration with primary and secondary schools.

Our Ph.D. student Amanda Muñoz-Juan was graduated with a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona on the 16^th of January 2024. Her thesis, “Assessment of Bacterial Nanocellulose on Caenorhabditis elegans,” was supervised by Dr. Anna Laromaine at ICMAB-CSIC.

Martí Gich and César Fernández were in @ForoTransfiere in Málaga. There, they showed how fast (less than 10 min!!) it is to analyze pollutants in water with the electrochemical sensor they developed.
