Today, 8th March 2021, Radio Capital broadcasted an interview to the N&N researcher Irene Anton within the program “Biotecnología Capital”.
Our recent work about bacterial nanocellulose and stem cells, published in Small, has been featured as a press release in the ICMAB and CSIC webpages. The post explains in a comprehensive way the results of this study through an interview with Irene Anton. Enjoy the read!
The collaborative work between the N&N group and the Eye Group from the University of Tampere (Finland) has finally materialized in common publication merging biomaterials and stem cell expertise!
The CORNEAL-BC project explores the possibilities of bacterial nanocellulose to treat corneal wounds in close collaboration with ophthalmologists. We are very happy to see this project featured on the CSIC R+D newsletter! Read the article (Spanish) here and learn more about it!
INPhINIT, ”la Caixa” Doctoral Fellowship Programme is devoted to attracting international Early-Stage Researchers to the top Spanish research centres in the areas of Bio and Health Sciences, Physics, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The N&N group offers a project to carry out your PhD with us: Bacterial cellulose scaffolds for emerging applications
Deadline: February 2020.
We are happy to announce that last 19th June 2019, Deyaa Youssef successfully defended his PhD thesis. Deyaa was a visitor researcher at the N&N group during two years. He worked with bacterial nanocellulose composites with carbon nanotubes for energy applications.
Congratulations!
Between 14 and 16 May 2018, the bars of Barcelona will be full of science. Pint of Science is back in town!
