We are thrilled that the Catalan channel, TV3, has highlighted our experiment to visualize full human endothelial cells labeled with iron oxide nanoparticles carried out at the synchrotron ALBA.

Elena is a former group member that has just initiated a professional career in a private sector with a young high-tech company. Prior to that, she will spend a two month visiting internship in our group. Very nice to have you back!

Dr. Kislon Voïtchovsky from  the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Switzerland) will visit our group and give a seminar at the ICMAB with the title: “Solid-liquid interfaces at the nanoscale: what can we learn from the liquid?“

Lijiao is a gradute from the Northwes A&F University in China and is currently a CSC fellow at the Nagoya University in Japan where he is preparing his PhD THesis doing research in Cooper Oxide nanoflowers. He is here in the framework of a Short Stay scheme financed by the japanese government. He will work under the supervision of Anna Roig in the synthesis of complex nanoparticles with microwaves.

Zeynep is a master student at the University of Vienna and will be with us for a 6 month internship under the supervision of Anna Laromaine. We wish her a successful research and a pleasant stay at ICMAB.
