Merry Christmas from the N&N Group!

CHRISTMAS-NN-2-01

All the members of the Group of Nanoparticles and Nanocomposites participated in the group Christmas meeting by bringing nice chocolates, minerals (Bismuth and Calcite), origami stars, Christmas plants (Poinsettia and Mistletoe) and Christmas cards. The last group meeting of the year 2015!

We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2016!
Let the Nano be with you! ***

NN Group offers three projects under the framework of Marie Sklodowska- Curie Individual Fellowships

Marie Sklodowska- Curie Individual Fellowship (Call MSCA IF 2015) is open offering multiple opportunities to experienced researchers to return and reintegrate in Europe.

There are 8 scientific areas established for MSCA. Our group offers 3 interdisciplinar projects under this framework (see attachments)

1.Field of PHYSICS, Optoelectronics in room-temperature multiferroic iron oxide.

2. Field of CHEMISTRY, Engineering novel magnetic nano-biomaterials to address tissue repair guided by angiogenesis.

3.Field of LIFE SCIENCE, Assessing nanoparticles in 3D biological environments, from cell culture to C. elegans.

If you are interested, please contact us and we will assist you.

IMPORTANT, DEADLINE IS 10 SEPTEMBER 2015!!

Welcome Luisa Barrera!

barrera

Begining of June, we welcomed Luisa Barrera in our group!
She is a third year at MIT student from the Materials Science and Engineering Department. She will stay with us until August working with Dr. Anna Roig and Dr. Anna Laromaine, on bacterial cellulose nanocomposites to be used as photocatalysts.
We hope she enjoys it a lot!!
