N&N Group members participated in the 31st Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials:
New paper “Bio and soft-imprinting lithography on bacterial cellulose films“ has been published in the journal Materials Today Chemistry.
New paper “Copper Oxide Nanocubes Wrapping Metals by Microwave Synthesis“ has been published in the journal Crystal Growth & Design.
New paper “Sciatic nerve regeneration after traumatic injury using magnetic targeted adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells“ has been published in the journal Acta Biomaterialia.
New paper “New Carbons derived from alcohol-treated bacterial cellulose with optimal porosity for Li–O2 batteries“ has been published in the journal Renewable Energy.
On June 3, Irene Anton defended her doctoral thesis “Opportunities for bacterial nanocellulose in healthcare. Uses as a cell carrier, corneal bandage and tissue reinforcement”.
Nerea Murugarren, a Master student at N&N Group, participated in the ACS Spring 2021 meeting, organized online by the American Chemical Society.
N&N Group welcomes a new PhD student, Wid Mekseriwattana from Thailand, who will work on SPIONs and beta-amyloid interaction:
The paper “Soft‐Chemistry‐Assisted On‐Chip Integration of Nanostructured α‐Quartz Microelectromechanical System“, recently published in Advanced Materials Technologies, is the latest result of the long-time collaboration of Martí Gich and Adrián Carretero-Genevrier (Institut d’Electronique et des Systèmes, CNRS).
The recent paper “Radiolabeled Cobaltabis(dicarbollide) Anion–Graphene Oxide Nanocomposites for In Vivo Bioimaging and Boron Delivery” has been published in ACS Applied Nano Materials. In this study, N&N Group members Amanda Muñoz and Anna Laromaine collaborated with Rosario Núñez and Gerard Tobias from ICMAB by sudying the GO-I-COSAN biocompatibility in the worm C. elegans.
